This guide will only work with Firmware 2.0.3-2.0.4 (The instruction might technically work in a future update, but you should in reference use a guide that is suited to that specific firmware version if so)
This guide will take it's standpoint setting up two machine besides each other.
This is one way of doing the set-up (there are multiple ways).
This procedure should be done for each machine wanting to connect to an iPad:
1. Make sure you are running firmware 2.0.3 or later (preferably 2.0.4)
2. Make sure that the following parameters is turned ON in the settings menu of the machine, so you are able to PAIR the iPad with the machine;
BT Pairing: ON
BT Visibl.: ON
iOS supp: OFF
3. On the iPad; Go to the settings menu and Bluetooth, and pair only one iPad to one each unit.
4. Go to the settings of the machine and turn OFF the following
BT Pairing: OFF
BT Visibl.: OFF
iOS Supp.: OFF.
5. Launch the app. Your iPad should now be connected and function well.
NB2: If still experiencing issues, I recommend you hard resetting the iPad. This is done by doing the following
1. Press the HOME BUTTON + SLEEP BUTTON simultaneously until the iPad screen goes black (About 6-7 seconds).
2. Release the HOME BUTTON + SLEEP BUTTON.
3. There should now be an Apple logo showing the iPad booting up.
4. Remove the pairing in the Bluetooth settings if there is any
5. Follow all the steps above one more time.
NB: There are other ways of doing this as a different set-up, please do follow your existing pattern if it works well for you. This is not the ONLY way of doing the set-up, but is more a very conservative approach where we turn everything OFF – to make sure various client in very rare scenarios will not continue to experience any problems with Bluetooth connections.
